It's Official!

This came out today in Publishers Marketplace, so I guess it's time to share!

Woo hoo!

Children's: Young Adult
Rachele Alpine's debut CANARY, about a girl who suddenly finds herself in the popular crowd at a new school when her father is hired as the basketball coach, to Ali DeGray at Medallion Press, for publication in Fall 2013, by John Rudolph at Dystel & Goderich Literary Management (World).

I'll write more once my head comes down from the clouds!

I have no idea how people manage to sit on big news!

Do you at least blurt it out to the checker at the grocery store or someone? "That was the last Romaine, and my agent and I just sold my book!"

Not that they'd understand how big it is necessarily. But we do, so congratulations!

WV: torte: what you should celebrate with, a nice chocolate torte with raspberry sauce
